Your order

Can I place my order over the telephone?

Our customer Services team can help you if you cannot place your order online.

Call Customer Services on 01706 300 210 and a member of the team will be happy to assist.

I have a paper prescription can I still use the service?

Yes, we accept paper prescriptions.

First, you will need to register for our service. You can then place a prescription order online and post the paper prescription to Freepost Superdrug Online Phramacy.

Can I order a private prescription?

The Superdrug Online Pharmacy is an NHS prescription service.

If you would like to obtain a private prescription, visit the Superdrug Online Doctor website.

Can I order controlled drugs or items that need to be stored in a fridge?

Yes, you are able to order controlled drugs and medication that needs to be stored in a fridge.

We will deliver these items from a local Superdrug pharmacy, closer to your chosen delivery address.

If you have any questions regarding the delivery of these items, please contact the dispensing pharmacy directly.

How much does this service cost?

If you live in England and pay for your NHS prescription, you’ll pay the standard cost of each prescription item in England, currently £9.35.

Delivery for NHS prescriptions is free

Where will my prescriptions be dispensed from?

All Superdrug Online NHS Prescriptions will be sent to our Northampton pharmacy (GPhC number: 1035495) at 9-11 Wood Street, Grosvenor Centre, Northampton, Northamptonshire NN1 2ED.

Prescriptions may sometimes be dispensed from this pharmacy or will be dispensed and assembled at our Online Northampton Pharmacy (GPhC number: 9010736) at First Floor, 9-11 Wood Street, Grosvenor Centre, Northampton, Northamptonshire NN1 2ED.

Under some circumstances your medicines may be dispensed and posted to you from Superdrug Stores plc (Superdrug Pharmacy, 34/35 Castle Quay, Cherwell Walk, BANBURY, Oxfordshire, OX16 5UN, UK registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council with number 1084610).

For items that require ‘special delivery’ (for example, medications that need to be kept in the fridge, or Controlled Drugs), we may deliver these medications from a Superdrug Pharmacy close to your chosen delivery address.

Does anything get posted to my address?

We will only send your medication to the address specified on your order request.

Can I reorder?

You can order a valid NHS repeat prescription by logging into your account and selecting which items you would like to reorder.

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your order, you should contact the Customer Services team promptly on 01706 300 210.

We are unable to cancel a prescription once the dispensing process has started.

Has my order been approved?

Depending on the option you selected when registering, you will be informed of the status of your order by email, SMS or through the App.

You can view the status of your order by logging in to your account, which is also where you can change your communication preferences.

Why have you declined my order?

Your order may have been declined if a prescription is not valid. Please log in to your account to read the message from the pharmacist to find out more.

Where is my order?

Once we’ve received your prescription request you can view the status by logging in to your account. The progress of your order is shown on the Orders page.
