What can my pharmacist treat me for?
Pharmacy First is designed to help you with a variety of common health issues that don’t require a visit to your doctor.
The conditions that your pharmacist can treat are:
- Sore throat (adults and children aged 5 years and over)
- Sinusitis (sinus infection) (adults and children over 12 years old)
- Infected insect bite (adults and children aged 1 year and over)
- Shingles (adults aged 18 years and over)
- Impetigo (adults and children aged 1 year and over)
- Ear infection (via in-branch appointment only) (children aged 1- 17 years old)
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infection (UTI) in women (aged 16 to 64 years)
